"Revolution" by Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer

"there they were, singing and showing up despite,
and this was the moment that made me believe
in the path—not just the grand marches toward freedom,
but also the thin trails marked with courage and creativity,
small moments I can follow like bread crumbs

“Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be, & you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be…This is the inter-related structure of reality.”

This session discussed AEBC’s advocacy activities over the past year, future plans, and the importance of self-advocacy. We reviewed our advocacy committee's efforts, successes, and ongoing issues, and discussed the importance of members raising their concerns and building a network of stakeholders for advocacy projects.

William Whately, English Puritan, addresses reasons some might have not to give to the poor. Some might object, if that person had wronged them, but we are to commanded to feed our enemy (Rom 12:20), and remember God loved us while enemies (Rom 5:10). We are to imitate God in this way.

Today, do religionists teach us to remember every wrong by a migrant, so as to have less compassion on the group?

How can you feed an enemy today?
