Today is Boxing Day in the UK. It is a Bank Holiday.
The name goes back to when the nobility, or the higher classes gave their servants/staff a gift or 'box' the day after Christmas Day.

@NorfolkGal Oh, I never knew why it was called that. Thanks! I’m at that point where days have no meaning because I’m home with the children, Christmas was on a weekend, and I managed to sleep until 6:30am today.

I lose all concept of which day is which during the Christmas period.
I have a week off work too so all the days feel the same.
