22/03/2025 - Nice to see you to see you nice

Afternoon walk on a cloudy day. It had rained in the morning. I quite like a walk after the rain. Everything looked wet and we stayed dry.

Photo is of a yellow flowering Forsythia shrub by the side of the track. It's a cloudy, misty afternoon after the rain. Trees in the distance. Forsythia is named after William Forsyth, an 18th century Scottish botanist. They were the great-great-great-great-grandfather of entertainer Bruce Forsyth! (I think I've got the right amount of greats there!)
