@chris @Paulatics @va2lam @Amgine the #DutchSenate, the Upper House of the States General, is elected by the Provincial States, (the provincial assemblies) and can vote in favour or against bills passed by the Lower House. So the Senate doesn't really add much to the table, except maybe as a "buffer" since both houses' election cycles are offset. The current #Schoof government has a majority in the Lower House, but nót in the Senate.
