Back in November I made the decision to make much more effort to get the right conditions when out taking photos. I'd been a bit lazy before this. Whether that would mean more early mornings to catch a sunrise or timing a visit for the tide or weather.
This is a thread for the photos I captured as a result of that extra effort.
First up is my trip to Buttermere on a calm morning to catch the sun as it first drops into the valley.
The next Wednesday after my trip to Buttermere I made the effort to get up for sunrise at Steetley Pier in Hartlepool.
This trip generated a very colourful sunrise shot and two of my all time favourites, the pier remnants shots.
My next sunrise trip was a week later, the forecast wasn't ideal but I decided to risk an early morning at Bamburgh.
The first of the three is at the start of the blue hour, whilst the one with the dog is just before the sun was due to rise.
My favourite of these three being the dog walker shot.

The next weekend Storm Darragh hit. I made sure I was in the right location at high tide.
